According to recent studies, mobile students are frequently switching their schools. This is not because they want to pursue their studies in local schools or colleges, reasons are very uncertain. Researches gathered the data of those students who joined the schools in 2007. This trend was followed by the 10% of total students in more than 9 states.
Over 20% of the students who started their 2 year public institution degree program, migrated themselves to the institution offering 4 year degree programs and completed the course in 6 years. 13% of the total enrolled students, finished up at a different institutions from where they have started it. Many reasons are there that can be responsible for this massive student migration, but the question that arise is – Is such extended graduation degree really helpful for students to achieve their desired goals?
