KGI Securities Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his many reports that accurately predict Apple’s undisclosed plans regarding a variety of products including the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, has revealed a bunch of details about the next gen iPhones. Iphone 6s and 6s Plus are supposed to launch in September offering several new features.
There are various rumours floating around, the most obvious of which, is of a new processor. The iPhone 6S will come with an A9 chip and could also get an upgrade in the RAM department to 2 GB. The handset will support Force Touch gestures, just like the Apple Watch and new Macbook.
There will be no new 4-inch model. Screen will remain at 4.7 and 5.5 inches, with resolution the same as existing models and are expected to feature stronger glass screens.
One final rumour suggests that the iPhone 6S might be available in a rose gold colour.The camera will have a pixel upgrade, likely to be 12 Mega-Pixels.
One microphone will be added near the speaker to enhance voice quality. There’s another rumour suggesting that Apple may decide to use the same series 7000 aluminium that they use for the Apple Watch with the iPhone 6S. The Series 7000 aluminium is 60% stronger than standard aluminium.
